This year’s Birdies Fore Brave Babies for Golf Tournament held a powerful milestone for us — we were able to introduce and showcase our Brave Box to an incredible audience of supporters. Each 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐔 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬.
Being able to share the story, purpose, and impact behind these boxes with golfers, sponsors, and our community was deeply meaningful. We’re excited to see how this visibility will inspire others, help raise awareness, and allow us to grow and improve these meaningful gifts year after year as our mission and impact continue to expand.

Hello! We’re the Lees — two-time NICU survivors and proud Co-Founders and CEOs of The Brave Foundation, home of our outreach project: The Brave Box.
As a registered nonprofit, our mission is to encourage bravery—especially in the lives of families navigating the NICU journey.
The Brave Box is more than a care package. It’s a symbol of hope. Each box is thoughtfully filled with handpicked essentials designed to nurture strength, resilience, and comfort for parents during one of the most challenging seasons of their lives.
This vision was born out of our own heartbreak—sitting beside our son Brave’s NICU bed, unsure if he would survive, but deeply committed to turning our pain into purpose and preserving his legacy through meaningful outreach.
Now, we’re preparing for our biggest donation of the year: The Brave Box Holiday Edition, and we need your help to make it unforgettable.
Our Goal: Deliver 100 Brave Boxes to families across three major Minnesota NICUs—each one filled with meaningful items wrapped in care and hope.
We are currently accepting:
- High-quality items for NICU families
- Local business products
- Handmade goods or art
- Services or gift cards that offer comfort and support
